Music Room, Suffolk
As a talented amateur musician the client needed a more generous space for making music than was available in his listed former farm house. A granary outbuilding provided the ideal opportunity for conversion and extension to create a music room, with a changing room for the adjoining pool. Cedar screens provide solar shading and filter farmyard views. The tall ceiling, cedar cladding and walnut floor provide near perfect acoustics. A ground source heat pump heats the Music Room in winter and pool in summer.
