Cambridge Junction theatre
The complete refurbishment of the existing night club building, a member of the Trans Europe Halles Factories of the Imagination, and the construction of a new 200 seat courtyard theatre and rehearsal room / children’s venue.
The external “shed-like” quality of the new theatre and adjoining rehearsal space reflect the location of the development on the old Cambridge Cattle Market site. The theatre acts as a regional “receiving house”. The scheme was the recipient of capital and revenue financial support from Arts Council England.
