Ramsey Library & Housing

Currently at the Planning Application stage, this project for a much needed new Library for this Fenland town is located on the site of an old cinema made famous for it’s “cinema in the buff” evenings!

The design seeks to be sensitive to the scale and grain of the Town, picking up the rhythm of the “burgage” plots historically associated with Fen towns. The provision of the Library is partially subsidised by the sale of houses and flats in the remaining part of the development.
