The redevelopment of infill sites often provides an opportunity to heal wounds in the urban fabric. This three-storey building for Octavia Housing replaces the original two-storey block of flats (which contained only four flats) and provides a total of six flats and a house. Two of the units are large wheelchair flats. The project received a commendation under the Council’s Environment Award Scheme. It was described as "a housing project displaying some of the best accessibility that has been seen in nominated schemes over the years…kitchen detailing, windows, and internal manoeuvrability space are all skilfully handled and should be an example for others".
