Willow Children’s Centre, Holloway

The project involved alterations to an Early Years Centre located in an outdated 1970’s structure, and provides a bright and welcoming new building for Islington Council Children’s Services. The centre provides a stimulating, secure and caring environment for children and their families, including 70 childcare places, a crèche for 15, and a broad range of family and health services.

The project creates a tranquil oasis in urban Holloway, and has received a Partners in Excellence Award for a Building for SureStart, organised by the Daycare Trust.
